Quintessentially Southern California, the Chargers 2020 relaunch is an aspirational brand synonymous with sunshine, blue skies, carefree style of play dating back to the team's AFL roots. Whether it's Sunday on the Venice Boardwalk or the Olvera Street Marketplace, there's an unmistakable vibe that's unique to Los Angeles. The 1960s in LA and its surrounding communities represent classic Americana coastal vibes. Throughout the branding process, our design team drew inspiration from the surf, skate, and car cultures of this era when creating its new look.

The LA Chargers expression is that of a classic SoCal brand. Coastal vibes. Americana swashes. Simple optimism.

Miami is not only a destination for sun, surf, and sand, but is home to some of the best entertainment, and the most luxurious hotels and restaurants in the world. A paradise for visitors and locals alike, Miami delivers many opportunities to escape into opulence. Whether you walk the vibrant spaces at Wynwood Walls, delight in the rhythms of local Afro-Cuban dance, or indulge in an upscale oceanfront meal, Miami offers the celebrity lifestyle to everyone. Likewise, NFL football gives fans the opportunity to escape every gameday with gravity-defying catches, explosive runs, and perfectly thrown touchdown passes-the excitement and intensity of gameday is a getaway all its own. Now, with Miami hosting their 11th Super Bowl, and culminating the celebration of the NFL’s 100th season, Super Bowl LIV will be the pinnacle of experiences, the height of fanfare, and the Ultimate Escape.

To celebrate 100 seasons of the NFL, Goldman Global Arts – the curators behind the renowned Wynwood Walls – and the NFL collaborated to make an artistic statement at Super Bowl LIV across Miami. A curated group of artists including Tristan Eaton, Dasic Fernández, Joe Iurato, Kelsey Montague, and RISK showcased their work through various platforms all highlighting different pieces of NFL100. For the first time ever, cultural relevance to the city and stadium played a leading role in the Super Bowl Game Day Ticket and Commemorative Program. The NFL’s Big Hits Program is being transformed with the GGA collaboration in a global way through art with a broader audience reach in celebration of NFL100. The five artists were commissioned to create and integrate large scale murals, sculptures, and building wraps into the Super Bowl LIV experience like never before. Varying in style and technique, this year’s Super Bowl will bring together 100 seasons of professional football and thought-provoking art.

Pharrell and adidas Originals continue their ongoing partnership with a brand new take on the adidas Superstar. Known collectively as the adidas Supershell Collection, Pharrell handpicked four of his favorite artists to transform the original shell-toe into something representative of his or her respective artwork. What results is an array of prints and patterns hitting one of the most original toe boxes in shoe history. The model’s 35th anniversary has given us countless special editions, but here the original colorways focus on the insole and toe while a premium white or black leather keeps the rest of the shoe as a metaphoric blank canvas in order to hold focus on the artwork. Pharrell created a few cartoonish floral takes himself while also enlisting the likes of MR, Cass Bird, Zaha Hadid, and Todd James.

The DATE Collection- Social Seeding

To create hype for the January 2016 launch of the new Date Collection, 1,000 social influencers were gifted a Date bra driving intrigue and early buzz which was then brought to a broader audience through VSPINK social media accounts. Extending the reach on campuses through Snapchat Date Bra giveaways and driving awareness of the launch and traffic to the in-store Date Weekend events. 

The NFL Draft is an exciting, emotionally charged event for the prospects, teams and fans alike. It’s the defining moment for players aspiring to transition from college to professional-level football. This is where it all starts. 

The NFL Draft is one of the few events in which all 32 clubs participate, everyone has a stake and the outcome is often unpredictable.

This campaign emphasizes on the achievement and triumph that each prospect experiences when the moment has finally come to play football in the NFL.

A style guide for the 2015 NFL Draft was created including branding for Auditorium Theatre at Roosevelt University, the Grant Park fan site, digital and video content, as well as printed collateral and promotions.

With the growing number of international fans, the NFL International Series brings the sport of American football to the UK. Each year, the game is played in London’s Wembley Stadium, home of the FA Cup and the Rugby League Challenge Cup.

Since it’s inception in 2007, the NFL International Series London Game has grown in scope and appeal. The NFL brings passion and intensity along with the spectacle of the Game, which makes the event unique to the UK fans.

In the 2014 season, three regular season games were held at Wembley Stadium. Game 9 with Oakland Raiders hosting the Miami Dolphins, Game 10 with the Detroit Lions hosting the Atlanta Falcons, and Game 11 with the Jacksonville Jaguars hosting the Dallas Cowboys. 

This is one of the three distinct looks created for the 2014 NFL International Series games, including branding for Wembley Stadium, Tailgate events, the Block Party and Fan Rally sites, the London environment, video content, as well as printed collateral and promotions for the games.

These are some fun title graphics I put together for the Snow Craft Series written and directed by Jesse and Lukas Huffman. From Vermont to Japan small-batch, back-to-basics boards are being designed for the local terrain, similar to how surf shapers build boards for their local waves.

It’s all about surfing the snow on boards that are made to better connect the rider with the mountain.

The NFL hosts a spectacular Saturday evening event in London for sponsors and partners. Held at the Royal Exchange, guests were greeted by Royal Guards and treated to a performance by Aloe Blacc. The décor featured images of celebrated NFL players with a treatment inspired by the magnificent architecture of the landmark building.
